Langshisa Ri Trekking Peak is situated in the very popular Langtang Region at an altitude is 6427m // 21085 ft.  It is a rather technically challenging peak and is a suitable undertaking for those with solid mountaineering skills. The trek or the journey during the course of this approach takes us through very scenic Langtang valley, famous for its natural – culture diversity with unique Tibetan style rural setting. Passing through thick pine forest, swift river streams, rugged rocks and snow clad peaks all around, and the grassy meadows with the opportunity for bird watching and wildlife encountering, the peak offers a fantastic opportunity to exploring the valley. In the upper part of the valley there are snow ridges spanning torrents, high passes enveloped in mist tiny lakes of crystalline brightness and glaciated mountain giants.

Lansisa Climbing Peak takes you the way of Langtang River with traditional Tamang culture along the border of Tibet with fields enclosed by stone walls as well as herds of yaks.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu International Airport- T I A (1300m) and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: After breakfast we set out for an extensive guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valleys cultural, historical, religious (world heritage) sites. During the course, we visit the famous Pashupatinath temple of Lord Shiva situated at the holy bank of River Bagmati where we will also observe the Hindu cremation ritual. We then proceed to the Boudhanath stupa, a major pilgrimage centre for the Buddhist faith which also is the largest of its kind in the world. We then have a short break for lunch followed by a visit to Swoyambhunath stupa also known as the Monkey Temple from where we can have a bird’s eye view of whole of Kathmandu valley. Following this we then proceed for a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the oldest royal palace of Kathmandu and a UNESCO world heritage site.  The whole area of Kathmandu Durbar Square is dotted with numerous fascinating Nepalese architect dating back many centuries. The site is also the home to Nepal’s living Goddess – Kumari, where we will also have the opportunity to experience firsthand this unique Nepali tradition.  In the evening we will attend the welcome dinner hosted by Makalu Adventure with live Nepalese culture shows.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Syabru Bensi:
After breakfast in Kathmandu, we drive to trekking starting point Dhunche and walk to Syabru Bensi. The drive takes about 8 hour and provides good views of the Northern most Nepal Himalayas.  Overnight either at camp or at the local lodge.

Day 04: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel:
We climb through a variety of small villages and tracts of dense forest, the trek becomes a pleasant walk through trees where Langur monkey (The honey hunter animal) frolic, passing streams and small waterfalls before arriving to Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel or at tented camp, according the arrangement.

Day 05: Lama Hotel - Langtang:
From here the short climb brings us to the where the Langtang valley begins.  As we start going up we will be able to see the beautiful view of Langtang Lirung peak. It is easy to find yak and the wild goats grazing around. Overnight in a lodge or at a tented camp.

Day 06: Langtang valley - Kyanjing Gompa:
A beautiful town which provide excellent panoramic close up view of Langtang Lirung Genjempol, Ganjala and Naya Kenga Himal ranges. A visit to cheese factory, see the beautiful Buddhist Monastery built 400 years ago. It is a good experience to try to climb to Tsergo Ri (5033m) if we feel up to it.  Overnight in a lodge or tented camp.

Day 07: Kyanjing Gompa: Rest and acclimatization day.
Today is a rest day or if we like, we could explore the surrounding on our own.

Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa to Langsisa Kharka, Overnight at Tented camp.

Day 09: Langsisa Kharka to Langsisa base camp, Overnight at Tented camp.

Day 10: Base Camp to Langsisa high camp, Overnight at Tented camp.

Day 11: Summit Langsisa Ri and back to base camp, Overnight at Tented camp.

Day 12: Trek back to Kyanjin Gompa,

Day 13: Kynanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel, Trek down to Lama Hotel, overnight in camp.

Day 14: Lama Hotel to Syabru Bensi.

Day 15: Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu.

Day 16: Full day leisure at Kathmandu or self exploration if you would like. In the late afternoon you could go for last minute shopping while gathering at late afternoon for a rather jubilant farewell dinner – cocktail party hosted by Makalu Adventure.

Day 17: Final departure
