Hiking
Visitors can take enjoyable hikes around the Village while staying at the Eco Farm. The hike takes one through the natural forest are preserved as a buffer zone to the Shivapuri National Park. Along the route, one might encounter numerous birds, pheasants and on rare occasions wild boars and barking deer.

Biking
Shivapuri is a biker’s paradise, if you are looking for some off-road mountain adventure. Usually, Kakani (a popular destination towards the west) is one of the best choices to start out.

This is particularly ideal for ornithologists and avid birdwatchers or to those who are just curious or want to learn more about the variety of species in the village and the National Park. Whether you watch birds as a hobby, perhaps alongside watercolor painting or Poker Games, or you're here to analyze the species variety, the village and the park are perfect choices.

The culture to the nearby Tamang village where one gets to see Nepalese village life in its purest form offers visitors the opportunity to converse with the ethnic Tamang community. This is where the great sage of our time known as the Shivapuri Baba spent his later life before living the planet at the age of 137 years. Shivapuri has several religious and cultural sites for the Hindus as well as Buddhists including peaks of Shivapuri, Manichud, Tarkeswor and the source of the Bagmati and Bishnumati rivers, all of which find mention in great Hindu and Buddhist epic and literature.
