The Annapurna circuit Trek is a moderate trek gaining the maximum altitude of 5,416m/17,769ft and is suitable for any passionate hikers with the ability to walk at least 6-8 hours a day with a light back pack.  High altitude hikes are always physically demanding, however you should not be put off by this as long as you are in good health and are determined to undertake the trip, you can definitely make it. Apart from that, your level of fitness increases considerably after each day’s hike and you feel much fitter every following day.  Although there are no prerequisite for joining the Annapurna circuit Trek, however, Jogging, swimming and regular walks, prior to beginning the trip are always helpful in keeping you in good shape and undertaking this adventure successfully. People with pre-existing medical condition and concerned with their ability for such high altitude walks should consult their physician for any special precautions that might be helpful in preventing any forms of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness).
